JM Financial Services on Thursday reported a 25.44 percent increase in net income in the September quarter due to higher commissions from the sale of shares.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 174.43 crore during the three month period, up from Rs 139.06 crore during the same period last year. Revenue for the September quarter jumped 20.67% to Rs 969.49 crore from Rs 803.40 crore in September 2020.

“We had another strong quarter and the numbers look encouraging, reflecting sustainable growth.
